A #Latepost Documentation

Hi there!

Here’s a video of me participating in a speech competition September last year. It was one of contested categories in E-Com, an annual english olympics held by Binus International University.

I advanced to the semi final. Horrible as you can see in the video, I did not make it to final—you’ll see why through the judges comments. I enjoyed it, anyway. I made a lot of new friends, experienced an exciting competition, and yet, learned a lot.

Just to give you the big picture, each contestant was given maximum 6 minutes to speak. There was one general topic and four specific topics, and they were matched randomly to the contestants. The general topic was “Ideas for a Better Indonesia,” and the specific topic that I got was “Revolution.” The preparation time was about half an hour (if I’m not mistaken).

Right after my speech is done, there’ll be comments delivered by the judges. There are three judges, they are Ms Munmun Sen Gupta, Ms Adora Jones, and Ms Kirti Prakuash, consecutively. All three are unquestionably amazing public speakers! As of Kirti, I became good friends with her :) Click here! to see her facebook page.

Anyway, enjoy! Don’t forget to tell me what you think.

NB: Thank you for the committee of speech competition E-Com 2015 (Sisca and others) for providing this documentation.
